Just When I Thought I Was Safe…

After all that talk about Thanksgiving in New York, we just got word we are being sent to Baltimore on Tuesday. It’s cool because we will be there for a whole year, so we’ll actually have stability for a while. Plus it’s near other interesting places like Washington D.C. and the great state of Virginia, so I see roadtrips in our future. Still, I was just starting to look forward to that parade! But we are planning one more trip to NYC on Sunday which may include the Empire State Building, and New Year’s Eve in Times Square is still in the plans. So, watch out Maryland, here we come.
I have only been to Baltimore a few times, once earlier this year for an Orioles game (that was our second of six ballparks this year), and another time for a high school band competition when my best friend and I got lost and almost missed the bus home. I am excited to go there because as far as I can tell it is a nice mix of North and South, plus four friends from high school and college live in the area, as well as one of my cousins. Hooray, social life!
In other news, Johnny Drama chewed through the power cord to my laptop and now it won’t charge. Mr. Andrews just went out to get me a new one (what a guy, right?). I will immediately be coating it with Bitter Apple Spray. Take that, Johnny Drama! Go chew on something your own size.
I’ll return tomorrow with our regularly scheduled honeymoon post.
