All About Me

My name is Mrs. Andrews. I am 28 years old. I married fellow artist/travelling companion/adventurer, Mr. Andrews, on 07/07/07 and I thoroughly enjoy being a wife. As a lifelong feminist and overachiever, I am pleasantly surprised by the enjoyment I am finding in domesticity. I love baking, scrapbooking, fine china, Oprah, hosting parties, and other old lady activities. I can’t wait to have kids.

Currently, my favorite little guys in the world are my dogs – Sonny, a four-year-old terrier mix from the Deep South, and Johnny Drama, a Chihuahua puppy from Amish country.

They are nutty, spunky, energetic, smart, and the most fun pets can be. I am kind of obsessed with them.

My husband and I are hard-core roadtrippers. In the last four years, we’ve visited 45 states and lived in seven (current location: Maryland). I love New York City, Key West, San Francisco, and Route 66. I can’t wait to hit Hawaii, Alaska, and the rest of the world.

I grew up in Massachusetts, which is probably the best place to grow up, but I don’t miss it (except for the pizza). I went to college in South Carolina, which was an awesome place to go to college, but I don’t miss it (except for the football). I do miss Texas and Southern California, mostly for the weather and the movie culture.

I would wear pajamas all the time if it wouldn’t embarass my mom. I am addicted to watching television shows on Netflix. My neck muscles make funny crackling noises. I don’t think they are supposed to. I love psychics and ghosts. I enjoy onomatology and have spent pretty much my entire life researching the perfect names for my future children. “Friends” is the most hilarious show ever on tv. My childhood hero was Punky Brewster and I still live by her wisdom. I think Darth Vader and Michael Corleone are unjustly villainized, especially by the AFI. I take way too many pictures and someday I hope to be famous in obscure independent film circles.

This is me, on my honeymoon.

That’s not even close to all of it. That’s why I have a blog.
